Wise move not to let them out during winter but also sad sign of the times when we cant do as we wish ,what about our human bloody rights :emoticon-0179-headbang: They just eat crows ,seagulls or anything they wish at this time of year although some will be finding it difficult during this continued cold snap

Made the mistake of trying to break a pigeon in weather like this at the beginning of the year. He was out for a week, survived a hawk attack and luckily also had a helping hand home. With a bit of luck Jim Cameron's other 4 will survive too.

Percy has been above me twice in the last month, they were nesting about 2 miles from me this year and it seems they've hung around. I still let mine out at weekends though, that is my Pleasure at this time of year and i'm no changing for the peregrine.

Big cammys doos were getting out regular so they were relativley fit so they would be flying about for a while advertising themselfs to the predator.I think the secret is not to have them in the sky for too long at this time of year.

the kestrel sits on the blantyre farm road most days

geo the easiest way to spot a peregrine is the shape of its wings like boomerangs
