chaz Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 12 pair for racing, 6 pairs of stock and 3 spares just in case!!! Ideally I would like to be able to house another 6 pair of racers , but think most fanciers tend to keep more stock than needed, but every stock bird purchased is the purchase of another dream "is this one the elusive golden breeder!!"
wings Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 I Have 40 stock birds and 50 race birds for the next year. one or two will be given away before i pair up this.
Guest spin cycle Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 i'll look for 24 pairs of natural racers and about 5 stock pairs.....but won't get rid of anything to quick. numbers flying out hopefully mean less hawk attacks (more eyes) and if she does strike theres a chance it won't be a 'first teamer'.
ovy1255 Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 Race birds-well thats what i call them they dont win much. BUT i have the best shitters i am sure -never stop scrapeing them out bucketfulls, if i left it it would be barrowfull,s but hope to cut down to twelve pair plus 8 stock.
