i got 5 out of 7 flying 243 mile

well nobody in the west will take them because if they cant get home to the flat land's of the east they have no chance of racing to tough terrain of the west route

so your maybe better to bin them

if i get my other 2 back tommorow thay will also be getting moved on .to the other loft to get through the moult.

i had birds come back next day in yb program.

bird next day from connsett won club next again week

bird next day from selby next again 1st club 6th fed newark also my 1st bird today. they are only barins and if thay get home as yb,s they get the same chance as the rest as yearlings.

This young bird national lark never fails to amaze me.

 

It is clearly a West / East divide, today was another example of this. It was our first entry in this race for 6 years and it will take some convincing me to enter again. The vast majority of fanciers in our section are still waiting on their first bird... its a friggin joke this race

Wasnae light hearted. There ma doos and they have to earn a perch. Maybe thats how there's so many yb losses. Years ago we didnae Molly Coddle them. More food for thought ;) ;)

The best fancier the SNFC has ever seen failed to time in today, who the *expletive removed* said flying in the Solway was easy, you need to be thick skinned down our end

Aye yer right Chris. I worked down your way for years, ye canny get attached to any birds you own cos the next day the BOPS get them. Believe me it's starting to get like that here too!

Aye yer right Chris. I worked down your way for years, ye canny get attached to any birds you own cos the next day the BOPS get them. Believe me it's starting to get like that here too!
