Yes robbie, Davie has had a dream season from the nationals ,If i had to pick 1 it would be Lot 6 Andy Wilson Macduff top class doos and top class man , has had great results for years from the distance into banff

have had a good look at the sales list and have to say there is a great mix of winning birds from 300 miles to 700 miles,think there will be a very good turnout today and also a few gems to be had. ;)

I am not entirely happy with my Yb for the sale so the purchaser will get or be offered a G'son/dghtr next year, it will be from a full Bro to the one in the sale today, he will be paired to a sister to the Dam of my hen next year. Aunt/Nephew pairing. It will be offered in plenty of time for racing.

I've had another look at the bird i bred for the sale. As much as i don't like an empty pen, i cannot offer this bird. It simply isn't up to scratch and does not reflect the quality of the earlier birds from this pair. So i will see the Secretary and either offer a 2011 Yb from the same pairing or will make a donation whichever he thinks best.

Its a new nest Bill, the nestmate to yours turned out to be a Beauty as wel but this nest are no nearly as good. They are healthy enough and i'm sure after weaning they wil come on but at the moment they are not what i would want to put in a sale.

Whoever purchases the pen will get a Great Deal off me next season you can be sure of that.

The sale was a rip roaring success with many many birds fetching over the £200, total before expenses was just under £9000. The turn out was exceptional with standing room only for almost the entire sale.

 

The Very best of luck to the purchasers, no where else could you have bought quality birds like the ones on offer today.
