    FASTING

Fill up the grit dishes and minerals, drinkers topped up with garlic and no food. Leave for 2 / 3 days and you will see a difference.
  3. Now that's what I call a post ;) agree 100%
  4. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
  5. How about this one 29th May - Newbury 12th June - Ypres 25th June - Alencon 3rd July - Eastbourne 10th July - Niort 24th July - Falaise
  6. Getting back to the topic of this thread.... any other ideas for a race programme
  7. Solway area...... peregrine country on our door step
  8. Was intending on going this year with my 2 best channel hens...... however.. one bashed her wing, the other never returned from loft exercise presumed hawked All being well will have something for next year A great venture
  9. ;D ;D ;D ;D Aye.... whatever
  10. The best bird in this year's Newbury race was the winner, simple as that and of course Newbury is a national race
  11. It is fair to say that the inland nationals are here to stay Derek, wether it be one or two. I do accept that we must move on with time and accept change but my concern is the channel races are getting shorter and I dont like the easterly racepoints from over the channel. In terms of a south section preference I have honestly no idea mate, the inland nationals are well enough supported down here with a lot of fanciers being more sprint orientated nowdays, westerly racepoints would get the thumbs up. However, its up to them to get to the AGM and to the talking and voting as the south is poorly attended at the meeting :-/
  12. ;D ;D ;D
  13. Anything but green ;D
  14. Good to see that you dont disagree with me then The national races are slowly but slowly getting shorter, if they get any shorter I will need to invest in some milers ;D
  15. Nice one mate, The Hammer, a legend The lowest of lows, bottom of the Diddy League ;D ;D
  16. Scrapping the longest race will be a bad move, I am all up for a 600 mile race for everyone in the SNFC. Why not race from Niort as we did in the mid 90's, this was a super race. As already mentioned there is a big libertaion with all the North West England classic clubs from Niort in July... why not get convoyed by them The sprinters have got the 2 inland nationals so let the ultra distance fanciers have a right good long race, everyone then has a taste of their respective distances
  17. Just finished watching Fulham v Roma, didn't even know Celtic were playing.... they got beat, oh what a shame.
  18. I would like to see the longest race to be held on the second weekend in July, could perhaps go with the big north west england clubs from Niort, a couple of plus points are there will be a bit of breathing space between races and least there will be a true longer race for everyone. Ypres if its still on the cards to be held on a weekend on its own...... this will put to bed the conspiracies with joint race marking with the other race. Scottih national racing was once regarded as the best of long distance racing in the UK, the racepoints are gradually becoming shorter with now 2 inland races :-/
  19. Just obtained a tidy team of birds from a top Dutch long distance loft so the wallet is a little empty, none the less will try and get up to the sale.
  20. Whats the difference between live and dead vaccines
  21. UK vets are useless with pigeons, maybe one or two that do shine but I'd rather speak to the continental vets
  22. Very poor performance, total p*sh...no excuses :B Must say though, haven't seen so many C*ltic 'fans' on here in ages..... looks like they have temporary came out of the woodwork ;D ;D

  24. Isle of Man is covered by the Cumrian RPRA Region, haven't heard of any fanciers on the island
  25. Seen a similiar thread to this one before, people easily get mixed between the two. Emiel Deweert from Kortemark Belgium, now known as Mvr Deweert & Sons. I reckon Geoff Cooper and Mark Gilbert have the best of these. Piet Deweerd, now Henk Deweerd from Breda Holland (Interpalomas Lofts)
