To answer the question of the thread..... YES !!!! Dont know what it is about us Jocks but we seem to do our sport more damage than the rest of the UK. Politics politics, bickering, backstabbing, jealousy etc is the cancer of our sport. Far too many so called fanciers who cant fly a kite but yet seem to enjoy falling out with others. These are the people that need a reality check, these are the ones who are dragging our sport down and sadly there is a few on this site.

In my eyes the best 700 mile fancier in UK is Dave Impett from Blackpool His record from Tarbes is awesome. In the 2009 NFC handbook there is an average for the best loft in the last 3 years from Tarbes, Dave Impett is at the top. 747 miles... awesome and a loft in the west of the country
