  16. Just digested the race programme, a bit of everything for everyone. Good to see Ypres on its own, will put some conspiracy boffins to rest Just measured our Bourges distance on google - only 597 miles, thought everyone was to be flying 600 miles plus..... depends on the location of the lib site. Will be looking to do that on the day of lib All in all though, well done in compiling a good programme

Been watching this thread unfold wondering if all is this energy and input will be applied at the AGM by those posting... probs not. I am not that big a fan of inland nationals, they are merely glorified fed races. Prehistoric or not, the SNFC was formed to promote long distance racing in Scotland that's how it should remain. No wonder over the last few weeks I have been hearing of Scottish fanciers joining other classic clubs just so they can fulfill their wishes.... real long distance racing
  18. For gods sake... no wonder the sport is dwindling A few pence increase on transfers / rings / subs etc and there is a mutiny Road tax, petrol increases every year , do we stop driving... of course we dont Just get a grip, get on with it and enjoy what time we have let in this sport
  19. Good tip Frank when we used it we got our dried elderberries from an online brewshop
  20. Mid day I think ;D Not sure, it was one of the Niort races
  21. I am talking about the level of competition in a local club, not the tide in Annan ;D As for middle distance, you'll no ken anything about that distance, just you stick to your derbies from Kelso. Oh.... almost forgot, in that club we are in we have a member who chalked up 1st Open SNFC 615 miles only bird on the day
