This young bird national lark never fails to amaze me. It is clearly a West / East divide, today was another example of this. It was our first entry in this race for 6 years and it will take some convincing me to enter again. The vast majority of fanciers in our section are still waiting on their first bird... its a friggin joke this race We got 3 / 5..... well done to all that timed

Will probs have to do that Frank just to be safe. Just dug up a 2005 rule book, it states no name and address to be wingstamped or bird will not be accepted.... no mention of a telephone number Struggle to see the point in this rule

Can someone please tell me the exact wording in the SNFC 2010 rule book regarding wingstamped birds, my rule book has went walkies. Our youngbirds are wingstamped with our telephone number only, no name or address...... is this deemed as acceptable for entry in this weekend's race. Cheers guys

I fully support drug testing, each and every bird that features on a result sheet should be up for a random test. I have still yet to see a documented list of what is classed as a banned substance, this should be clearly communicated by SHU / SNFC If for example a bird is tested after the yb national and is found to be positive there is nothing stopping the owner claiming he didn't have a clue what was an illegal substance
