  1. Only 14 birds timed in south section from 175
  2. Words of wisdom from my buddy Time to shelf these pointless inland races
  3. I guess there was about 120 birds times at the Solway clock station which was open between 6.30 - 8.00pm With regards to the idea of Marlborough route home being unfamiliar to most of the convoy is a fair point however, the SNRPC from Wanstead Flats had it just as bad and those guys will be racing from familiar ground.
  4. A disasterous race, simple as that, we have 6 from 9 Absolutley nothing to do with the racepoint far from it, it was the fresh north east wind that done the damage. As for the statement regarding the south guys conned those at the AGM regarding Marlborough it a load of sh**
  5. Correction Steven, Mr&Mrs C Little = 3 national wins A rough count up gives 30 national wins from the current membership, not bad at all
  6. Agree Big Fella, however, I regard WPW as a better scribe Looking forward to the Sporting Challenge this year
  7. East winds means losses
  8. Hurting eh..... one cup in the bag already this year
  9. I can recall being at a quiz panel 20 years ago, one of the panel members whom was and still is a legend in our sport spoke of his anger at being pestered by hawks then...... he suggested the only viable solution to the problem as a whole was the bullet, his words not mine. 20 years later we are no further forward, countless campaigns, MP intervention, petitions and talk of protest walks etc have proved entirely fruitless and have been a total waste of time. In otherwords... get of your rear ends and do something about it yourselves. Stern words... if my opinion offends then so be it !!!
  10. Michael, in terms of other club representation I wasn't aware of such a meeting
  11. I'll kick off Lot 1 - £80
  12. Thanks for the info Walter, most appreciated. This instance is a reflection of when it comes to racepoint proposals in any organisation, not enough research if any carried out prior to submitting proposals.... jmo
  13. Just heard that Wakefield and Chersterfield have been changed already from the race programme by Worksop and Newark. Why is this ??
  14. Hey steady on a bit Michael... I've to race against this guy
  15. There is a few more sneaky ones who say nowt
  16. Fanciers not flying is one thing but birdage is another. I may fly in the fed this year but with a reduced birdage. Marlborough the week before the SNFC Marlborough race is where all my doos will be going
  17. Just spotted Bigda ootside the Segton Bar
  18. What 'specialist clubs' are tearing the fed mate
  19. Legend !!!!!
  20. Trophy number 20 for Sir Walter
  21. Because its a nuclear establishment it has more focus, the authorities have done a great job with their localised evacuation of civilians. After each of the hydrogen explosions the pressure vessels still remained intact, excellent engineering. The worlds worst ever industrial disaster was the Bhopal event in 1984.... yet the world still has chemical plants
  22. The nuclear scenario amazes me. Those Reactor buildings were the only structures still standing whereas everywhere else was wiped out, a testimony to their design and robutness. Whats happening in Japan is nothing compared to the events of Chernobyl
  23. Come on guys, rally round and fix your trailers. Solway fed lads got together a couple of years ago one winter's day and repaired our trailer
