  1. Huge well done to each and everyone who timed in, also managed to sneak in a yearling hen at lunchtime Channel racing.... the heart and soul of Scottish National racing
  2. Only 13 birds timed in the south, 10 of which were last night Very well done to my clubmate Craig Halbert
  3. The cock that was twice 2nd section, 3rd & 16th Open SNFC Chenoise for us contained 50% Davie Donaldson bloodlines
  4. The last prime minister we had that had a set of balls No one could defeat her
  5. Just spoken to a very good friend who's had a phenomenal year in the SNFC, sadly his performances weren't reflected in the quality of the diplomas, could sense his disappointment in this. We never gained any in 2013, just as well.....
  6. I recognise that three times Scottish national winning loft.... top quality fanciers with a top quality loft
  7. Our three national winners were darkness babies, so it done them no harm in later life. Regarding yearlings, cant say darkness had a detrimental effect on them
  8. and race from Rennes..... the Holy Grail of Scottish National racing
  9. Good luck for the campaign ahead Wullie Hope to enter this in the future
  10. Thank you very much for all your hard work Walter. Get the feet up and enjoy the birds
  11. Central marking was in 2000 for the Messac Gold Cup race. As for the Liege race in 2001.... returns were poor
  12. Likewise, I agree, that is a great post from Jamie The longest race is the one we aim for
  13. Superb post This thought has been mentioned in the Solway with a positive feel, I'll certainly support it.
  14. Brilliant sale, the Lanarkshire lads should be very proud, well done. Not all surprised the highest priced bird was bred by Mr & Mrs Elliot, this was also the case at the recent SNFC sale. This partnership are in a league of their own in the SNFC West section, no one better and no one close.
  15. Excellent post mate I'll fully support this as our days of sending youngsters to the SNFC are finished
  16. I wouldn't use the word 'bad' to describe us in the Solway or those in the West section. Certainly a more challenging location. A big well done to all who timed, especially in the south and west
  17. Our race controller had a tough morning, it was all on here to see the comments from a fancier in Leicester with regards to it raining at Leicester earlier. It going to be hard day for everyone especially the guys in the North section whom I've a lot of respect for As for the heading implying disregard for birds and fanciers is a pathetic one..... form an orderly queue guys for those wanting to be race controller
  18. I think 45 away from South
  19. Cracking distance, same as ours for the NFC young bird national Anybody out there know....... or is it hush hush
  20. Found dead at my workplace,Chapelcross nuclear station near Annan. Peregrine attack
  21. How many birds are away ???
