Well i did go and except for the long drive me and my mate enjoyed ourselves —best thing of the night was the pies —they were nice. Tried buying a young bird in the youngster auction but my mate out bid me. Well done ,a good night.

This year again it’s at the same weekend as Houten spring Show in Holland, it’s on Friday March 1é. It’s only 30 min from Antwerp and 10 min from Lier where market is on the Sunday. With loads of parking aria for the coaches it isn’t a problem to get there close to the front door. There is a bar and a hamburgers stall indoor. The first coaches arrives around noon local time, they coming straight from the port or Chunnel. Sellers will stay as long as there are buyers. Johan van herck organises this on Friday before Houten show and only allows invited racing pigeon men to sell at market and selects men that have results flying their birds. Mick—guy called bob Pinkerton runs a young bird sale every year in aid of children’s ward at local hospital—done this for years and made a lot for the hospital. He bends most of the local fanciers arms up their backs for young bird donations—we cannot refuse . The birds are from some well respected lofts around Newcastle and surrounding area and you could buy a shed full at reasonable price and most fanciers will give you more than one if you buy young bird that isn’t in the pen. As you can see ets first codes —denotes make of clock. A good programmer should be able to go into doss and enable clocking of say C9 as well as C5 rings but that might cause companies to loss revenue as you can only sell so many clocks but ring sales are undefined as birds take ets ring with them when they go missing. But could be worse if chip was injected like dog chips it wouldn’t be reusable. Would like the mobile number for the guy that cleans out perigrins nest in Nottingham ,bet he gets loads of ets rings .

All systems approved as far as I know use hi tag s chips in their rings. The ets first two digits denote the type of system it can work on —so alll —ALL ,unikon chips start with C9. Where all Bricon start c5 and its only the manufactures that block and stop you using any rings by programming your ets to only accept c9 rings in case of unikon. Forces you to buy correct rings and shu can not manipulate these rings so buy where you want as long as approved rings.
