8 members sent just over 300 birds in 13 baskets for their second race --130 miles if my memory is right--hopeing for liberation in the afternoon.

Well thats thhe first one over sent 12 cocks 12 hens --full team to wakefield 84 and a bit miles --basket sat tea time birds up sunday 10.15 in no wind Good race great returns all back and managed afirst and second club possibly 7 and 9th fed and to show how good the race was got 7 in one min.. Happy days looking forward to first midweek race on wed weather permitting ,

Tell us symptoms then and only if symptoms are what i would say was definitely pmv then kull straight away and cremate birds and start cleaning loft and burn waste spray with something like gemxol and burn out loft . Dont spread your waste or bury your birds ,dont go near anyone elses stock ---i am not expert but this is what i would do.

If you make your loft to clinical -- wipe clean surfaces like melomine and tile floor or lino floor and use gloss paint inside loft you will find on damp days that moisture doesnt soke into wood then dry out on good days,surpriseing how much birds sweat especially when on young. Nest boxes can vary but keep it simple ---if you only want a few google kit boxes that are used for rollers.

Please keep us informed of developments -- how many young seem to be affected -- if all how many in loft ? Maybe i am old fashioned but carnt point you in direction of medication but would advise clean and flash flame loft ,partings.

Well gilly got the lads to a premier inn last night in durham and this morning picked up at bowburn services durham but i gave it a miss and bowed out not feeling 100 % but hope the lads have a good trip.
