The federation liberated around 180 - 190 pigeons at 6.15 from Fraserburgh. Next week our liberation will be independent from the East Midlands and should hopefully have around 60 - 100 pigeons, 96 pigeons were duplicated back to this week's Open race.

Any ETS ring I have put on has a double click and it takes some pressure to close it fully, but I have noticed some on the first click only. How they work loose I don't know, but roll on the day when the chip is contained in the life ring. If the Unions have their way and all ETS manufacturers have to produce rings that can be read by any system then we will be on our way.

Don't know yet. Clocks were at 18.00, but they were at club level, so waiting on clock sheets to arrive. J L Dumigan looks to have won our club with a good one and we top the Fed a lot, so possibility is he will win the Open Race. There were no non-Fed entries for the first one, but hopefully some may enter this week's race. I think Lerwick is the main draw though, as that race is certainly a challenge no matter what distance you fly. Are you going to give it a bash?
