  2. Got to agree Billy, Ronetta is a very good and experianced Secretary. who would go out of her way to help.
  3. I would invite the guy round at a suitable time, could be a new fancier in the making.
  4. I was at Kilmarnock too , and yes things were a wee bit slow, but better to be right than have a mix up later. Unfortunatly the football club that shares the carpark with us had a visit from SFA officials and local councilors causing parking problems for both them and us.
  5. Havent had many reported over the last few years, but I would always try to retreive them as soon as possible , and always glad to see latecomers return home. I have a friend who occasionaly brings in pigeons collected from the solway area sometimes 5 or six at a time mostly local Ayrshire birds and like you Walter I always endevour to get them back to their owners most are really greatfull others not so.
  6. I dont know the numbers but Kilmarnock seemed quite busy, can be deceiving though.
  7. Its one of her club members James or was initialy , it may have been transferred but I would think the original owner would know who it belongs to now. I would give you the federation Secy,s number if you want , but he will refer you to Ronetta anyway.

  9. Sorry James I misread the ring number, It is showing as a Whitlets club bird, and your contact is Ronetta Murray club Secy. Can only think she can tell you who the ring was issued too initialy

  12. I doubt he will step down of his own accord.the guy is too ignorant to do that.
  13. Havent heard a cheap about this. and I am a Fed delegate for Kilmarnock .
  14. Whats the entry fee Andy?
  15. Looks like you are going for it yourself Andy
  16. Found the opposite Alan, went with Ayrshire fed transporter twice just before the seson started and got hammered twice, , private training had a few hits but nothing serious,as you say we are all experiancing different things no right or wrong answers.
  17. Going through the breaking process for some birds too at the moment, all the above is 100% correct, I would also add, let them out singly at 1st, dont be surprised if some seem to disappear then return after a few hours or so, some sit out for a day or so hunger is a great master, and mostly be prepared to loose some they wont all break unfortunatly unless you get lucky. so far I have broken 5 out of 6 in the last week , one has disappeared totaly . PS as regards racing them a broken pigeon was 3rd club for me last weekend .
  18. The Ayrshire birds both belong to R Sloan of Kilmaurs , he has been informed.
  19. 4 out of 4 today with Ayrshire
