    Am sure it is Rab , the boy that handed them in was a non fancier that picked them up from a fancier down at gretna last night so he would not have known but the fancier should have.

  8. No direspect to the North road boys, but they get bad races too, but the main reason I feel is the lack of distance involved.
  9. Going to collect a stray in Dumfries this morning If Anyone wants strays collected in Dumfries area and brought up to Ayrshire .let me know ASAP sorry for the short notice but will be leaving in an hour or so.

  14. Read it again Andy , looks like we are saying the same thing. I am hoping the Ayrshire YBS can redetermine the existing westerly route , as I beleive that a lot of the losses experienced this season are due to birds that have flown on the easterly routes were disorientated and taking as you say the long way round. We can but hope.
  15. Much as the idea would appeal to me , I feel the birds would get slaughtered when coming over the southern Ayrshire coast, not many Ayrshire fanciers train down that route any more. and totally disagree with Kyleakin ,apart from going back out to sea there is no leeway to escape.

  18. Anyone heading to Kilmarnock clock station tonight, AVOID the town centre area Lots of traffic crowds and road closures due to the Queens Baton Relay.

  20. Birdage numbers must be wrong, Section F there was at least 150 birds through Kilmarnock marking stn alone.
