  2. Mind and watch what you print on it as we had one which said "THE DOG AND ITS HOUSEKEEPING STAFF LIVE HERE" The boss thought it referred to her and sacked us !!.
  3. TIMPSONS Shoe Repairs do all types of plaques with whatever you wish on them and reasonably cheap.

  5. I was invited to the Commonwealth Games Exhibition of Memorabilla at the Macroberts Center in Stirling University to-day and came across an interesting piece on the 1986 Games in Edinburgh. It would be interesting to know if any body from that area and in that era if they can recall the following..The Director in charge of the BBC Production intended to liberate 5 thousand Red,White and Blue Doves at the start of the ceremony and had a dummy run with 500 Homing Pigeons dyed in those colours with Cochineal food colouring dye. It transpired according to the report that the released 500 coloured birds were reported in peoples gardens, parks and local streets with the report concluding that the dye had caused the birds to lose their homing ability and the excerise was abandoned. Who I wonder supplied the BBC with streeters ???.
  6. 9 Kgs for the birds and 3 Kgs for the basket. It only feels heavier due to the awkwardness of carrying the basket.
  7. Caldercruix bird Andy McKee 01236 842337
  8. That disqualifies 99.999% of fanciers then :emoticon-0126-nerd:

  11. Just had a look on E Bay and they are £37 now.
  12. B&Q in the Garden Section have Fly and Moth Killer ( Its a blue light which attracts them onto an electrical coil which zaps them and they fall into a built in tray on the bottom ). I have one in each section and have killed litterally thousands of moths, flies, midgies. They cost about £10.00 each and are pennies to run weekly. Thoroughly recommend them and had them for years.
  13. Sent 2 to the Gold Cup but were both with the also rans so am contemplating sending them back over along with 2 Yearling hens but will wait till nearer the time before making my mind up.
  14. With no one prepared to stick their neck out for fear of having their head chopped off I will start the ball rolling with the following. 1/3 Protein. 1/3 Carbohydrates. 1/3 Fats.
  15. I am not surprised at the result due to the quality you have in your loft and no doubt she will be going for gold out of Ancencis and creating a record that will never be broken. Well done from the Brother and I. :emoticon-0137-clapping:
  16. Starts on the 25th July 2015 according to the A/V Fed Book with the above programme finishing on 5th September.
  17. Only 2 completed the programme in the club but I could be 50% out. I believe the problem was doubled up races being tranported with the SNFC and costing members £2 per bird, Same with doubling up with SCC. P.S. Only 2 members work in our club Denny in the Midland Fed.
  18. How did the dysfunctional manage to turn this queery for Chlorocarb into a dysfunctional product they have to use especially wee Tiger ??.
  19. Any member have information on supplier of Chlorocarb ?.
  20. I am only pointing out Steven that if I was the vehicle owner I would not wish to be stuck in a jam to get on a ferry and have the same problem on the return journey when I am being paid only on delivery so I would be advising on an inland race point.
  21. Probably the transporter vehicle owner !. :emoticon-0138-thinking:
  22. Aye the auld hen wis feelin the heat and went in an watched the tennis
  23. Saltire £30.00 :emoticon-0138-thinking:
  24. I posted not to long ago that "incitement section 46" should see the end of this nonsense and thank goodness it has. So get your Larson trap out.
  25. Switched my computer off at 12.30 yesterday and put it back on at 21.00 to-day to my amazement at this post. Ypres cancelled and Ancensis still on or am I reading all the crap differently. It has been in the news all week regarding high temps this week but that is being discounted due to the ferry strike ?. I still cannot fathom out which reason the race was cancelled as its either the heat or ferry. Not wishing to put a damper on things as I decided not to send due to the heat and it does not matter which race you are going to. In 2010 the SNFC went to Bovington when it was the hottest day of the year and I do believe it was a disaster returns wise which was why they never went back. I hope all goes well for all competing.
