Yours was the highest guess - velocity is around the 1700 mark for the combine topper for the times bandied about, our club winner is doing in the region of 1680 however you were nowhere near on the birdage which is around 9000!

A few statistics before I close the thread. Last year the birdage was 10,914. My club has sent 10 more this year than last year. Time will tell

The Up North Combine are heldover at Oakham, Rutland (5 liberations) There will be in excess of 5000 in 3 out of the 5 liberations I would imagine

Well done - 1453 you're the closest Worst young bird race I've ever experienced 2 weeks on the trot I have had 100% returns with the young birds 38/38 - I'm currently 18 missing - all my best ones bar one missing Gutted
