  5. The UNC are at Newark tomorrow Can you guess the velocity for the first young bird back for team Hampson tomorrow? Distance is 106 miles. It's a biggish jump for us - just over 50 miles (we've got quite a few big jumps this young bird season as a lot of our usual racepoints are not available) I'll start it off with 1480 ypm

  15. I had 37/38 on the day, one next morning We have a new starter in our club who lives 6 doors away from us He was like a dog with two tails having waited 35 years (and for retirement) to start racing pigeons - and this was his first race He was so excited - and was lovely to see He has been so enthusiastic He got one before we did - but it wouldn't trap.......... C'est la vie!
  16. Sent 38 (that's the lot - bar two bred for the stock loft who are not being raced) Bubwith with the Up North Combine, 1st young bird race 55 miles to me - weather forecast didn't look great so hope it's better than forecast

  20. National rung? It's North West homing union You can now do a stray report on their website! https://nwhu.co.uk/TempDir/stray-pigeons/stray-pigeon-form/
  21. Something went wrong a few years ago where I live, a West wind or South West wind - the birds would come straight over my loft as I am right on the coast Then about 5 years ago it changed, no matter what the wind is the birds 99% of the time come out of the West - that's inland for us, they're never on the coast - now whether it is Birds of Prey and too many nesting sites on the coast I just don't know Yet those people who fly inland won't have it!! Well it's true for my area
  22. I suggest your club secretary has input incorrectly. Has he put NEHU or NWHU in the drop down box?
  23. What's the NEHU number as there shouldn't be a problem
