from an outsider lookin in Ye cant agree on the colour of chite between ye all... which is sad really. as im aware the SNFC was created for the distance, and changes within last 15-10 years have made more inlands and this fight will not be won unless the membership vote for it. the birdage isnt there anymore for the big ones not becuz of the inland nationals, but becuz of the BOP problem. The BOP problem needs sorted first ...then arrange your programmes and the the reconciliation between SNFC & SNRPC. Derek has a good few points to put forward,but security id like to hear more on, i say hold till Bop is sorted and the SNFC should put pressure on the RPRA rapter alliance group to see what the *expletive removed* is happening...(cuz sure as *expletive removed* i dont know) Gulkie suggested the Lib variations according to weather..positive and forward thinking. It could be Candida/yeast infection, imo e-coli would hit more than one, whereas yeast can take its time to manifest leading to the odd here and there through time. but as you say JAM...get birds tested

can the suppliers name be put up here? ive seen this bottle in 2 fanciers homes this year in Derry...one flies out of his skin ...and the other always had poor looking birds, but this year they were gleaming and he hasnt raced much. atb mick

oer here we put 20 in crates for inland and 14/16 for channel. We have birds in St. Malo at the minute and 14 per crate. they need there space and with the hot weather tis not good for 20 to sweat like *expletive removed* among each other never mind scrap for the drinker. No matter how many less are in, you will always have 1 or 2 domineering cocks defending drinking corner like they defend their own box. but less of a scrabble if numbers kept down in crates. Last year i went in loft, one week after mixing birds from others...what i saw was a complete mess of boke and loose droppings. Straight away on starve for 24 hrs and i gave every yb a charcoal tablet. Next day after cleaning the black slop up they went onto Bi-carb of soda in water.... light feed of barley next night..thought i would let it run its course(i was wrong) within a week of sickness i lost 18 all disposed off cuz they got that bad(secondary infections kicked in). after disposing of 18 i sent to Vet for help ...got meds and after a 2 week treatment period all was well.. 5 days Quinoxil( broad spectrum anti-biotic) 5 days Nystatin( for yeast/candida) 5 days vitamins/probiotic by my own doing. Bottom line is "IT DOESNT BENEFIT TO LET RUN COURSE" unless your willing to stop racing and bin half if not more of your loft...the secondarys are the killer. atb Mick
