exactly Rab ..up here they trained well. Sperrins gave us good cover, i have had only 2 tosses on me own and the birds made hard work of it. The fed van has had good training. But beyond the sperrins its still baltic and birds will find it tough. seasons have shifted ...its not natural to train in these winds..used to be march held the east now its april. Mick

Walter If the RPRA have a ring registered to someone outside their union they will notify that person....because duplicate letters are sent out. The one who reports has to know where who ring belongs to and they cant notify them without notifying owner. The only way you wont be notified if contact details is in correct. Mick

Geordie im not a vet but had a similar experience....ybs dont die in nest from YBS ..your birds have like Vet said a bacterial infection and prolly Salmonella/Paratyhoid. one dropping test will not give def result. Thererfore vet covering his own ass by saying u need cultural is proper protocol. Costly but answer to prob. the decision you have taken is prolly a panic one ...but remember the vet said a cultural maybe required. hope you get it sorted atb Mick
