Aye but if they can see 30----70 miles how can you lose them in short toss ,or 60 mile race ,do they hate their home ,lost interest in partner,eh well maybe we always say they have got charecter like humans ,but seriously i dont think they do see that distance,or mine didnt this year.

The subject i raise is ,just started racing after 12yr lapse ,bred some youngsters trained them first year, only started racing this year, lost the lot or almost.IMO! The only thing good for racing is a cross ,what i did first year was paired them up by strain i think i made big mistake what do you think??

You can ask the experienced men from now tae doomsday its just doos you take it on the chin ,pick yourself up ,and get on with it .I have just started back into this and it is hard to get going i expected this and saddly i am right lost birds, had dissapointments ,but there are no easy answers.

I dont know about you but i am back into this after a12yr break and have found it hard to get any homing, as for me i know it just takes time to get a puckle doos that will fly for you ,its certainly not a easy hobby to find a bit of success in,good luck anyway ,i will just look to my young birds now.

We fly on the east side ,and i think Ayr NR fed are at Newpitsligo am i right this weekend ,we suffer losses up this way to flying into the north ,if you dont have losses count yourself very lucky i would say ,on any side .

Flying RATs!!! We treat them and worm them and feed them well ,dust them for mite,half the pet owners in the country ,cats ,dogs,etc,etc they dont do half of this ,they havent a clue!!!
