I have put 6 to Rippon 240mls app so we will see ,London NR combine,Kent &Essex combine, NR of the Thames combine,all at Berwick on tweed also Ayr NR FED at Portlethen ,all releasing and flying south ,we are comming north with the North of Scotland Fed ,Happy days.

Dont panic yet we all have this happen i think birds dissapear and most of the time return ,the young birds scout out their area to learn where they are .I have heard of birds ranging 10 mile out .

Not sure but i think it must be north highland

Never much luck with any lost stock birds here or lost youngsters its like the Bermuda Triangle once they have escaped their gone for ever ,but thanks.

RedCHEqHen,You have no idea how close your experience is to whats just happened to our family ,father inlaw had to have kidney removed (cancerous)resulting in failure of other kidney so gets dialysis 3 days per week ,has to travel 35 mls for this but anyway,while in hosp they discovered he had bone cancer but it was very slow progression and due to his other illness they didnt think he was up to the required type of treatment,he has been in hosp about 4 month ,well any way the wife gets a phone call from hosp and it went like this You know your father is very ill and maybey he would like to stop dialysis as the traveling is very hard on him ,if he stops he will have 3 weeks to live with dialysis maybey 4-5 weeks you might like to discuss this with him.Next day wife frantic spoke to his own doc he said thats not right no one can say how long he will live with treatment,so the doc phoned hosp we think because next day 8.15am a consultant from the hospital phoned and apologised profusely for the family upset .We are aware the outlook is bleak he is 86yrs old but what we dont want for him is to be cast off because someone thinks its waisting money

30 mins ago bright and sunny now grey clouds and overcast,sudden change could be a shower of rain soon.

A bit grey and cloudy ,hard to say if sun will get through or no.

A bit nippy this morning but sun out now and blue sky above looks as though it could be nice day.

Low cloud but bright ,sun trying to come through but word of showers.

Dont go into this 1 table spoon of feed lark remember its babies you are trying to put muscle on you dont want to stint them of food at this stage give them all they want stop feeding when they walk away ,remove any food thats left from the loft until next day when you call them in at 4 .

You will have to let us know where you are at ,is all your youngsters out and flying,are they kitted up and flying in a group?? So if they are not yet flying in a batch its because they are not ready they have to build up confidence ,feed when they come in to the loft and their clock will get used to this .Try to keep to a time ,if you get them in at 4 say and fed you can work on this time ie ,let them out 3o-clock call them in 4o-clock so thats 1hr exersise work steady routine.Use a whistle ,rattle a tin with beans make the same distinct noise all the time your taking them in and feeding,it becomes to them just the sound of the dinner call ok?

I have bad heart and chronic COPD 25%lung function and i use scraper on floor and a handfull chicken bedding it gets blown to the edges of floor light scrape every day clean out once every week-ten days ,i sit down on upturned plastic bin ,never scrape when doos are in ,and try wearing mask ,dont say i am perfect with mask,but try goodluck!!

If i lived in the country i would let them come and go as they please on open hole ,but living in a town you need them under control they know when they get out and more importantly when you want them in and this is by feed ,there is nothing worse than them sitting on house roof ,inside is for rest and feed ,outside for flying.
