If I remember rightly he had done it previously and was trying to see if different weight on modern systems it was a few years back and sure it was for the birds racing out to Lerwick if you get in touch with him I'm sure it would be interesting reading all the best

Remember reading Bernie Bennetts notes in homing world a few years back he weighed them through the season sure he was from Dagenham maybe worthwhile trying to get a hold of him

My dad done a write up on eddie for the homing world stud book I think mid seventies called king of the skies unfortunately haven't managed to find a copy but do remember it was the only time ever my dad used a tape recorder over two days at Macmerry about 16 hours of eddie talking about his birds maybe some of the older members on here might be able to put a copy on here
