  1. It's a commercial decision by the RPRA to increase their ring sales. However, it will allow natural youngsters to compete with darkened ones. We all have a greater choice now breed early or not. There have always been individuals who received their rings before other club members depending on their relationship with club officials.
  2. Its ok Gary its not a problem. It just takes a while to plod through all the birds on offer. I don't follow single loft racing at all so I'm not in a position to comment. I would rather spend the time outdoors in summer with my own birds. I hope you and the young guy have a great business relationship and I assume the first guy doesn't carry your endorsement.
  3. Racers first week in March but possibly some stock slightly earlier.
  4. I have visited your web site on a few occasions. Undoubtedly there are some quality pigeons on offer. However, I find the site is just slightly slow compared with other similar sites. I am not criticising you in any way but I just thought this was worth a mention as it is something you might not be aware of and a faster site may be of benefit when dealing with impatient punters like myself. My broadband speed is good.

Unfortunately it didn't copy very well. Where you see 2 prices the first one is without VAT and the second includes VAT. If you cannot see what you want let me know and I'll quote from the price list.
  9. There are loads on eBay and Facebook now. I tried to contact Unikon 3 times by email without success. I then phoned their sales line at 15:04 one afternoon only to be told the line closes down at 15:00. I wouldn't like to depend on this mob for technical backup.
  10. Thanks for the full address . Even the parking is a bargain.
  11. Anyone have a postcode?
  12. Get well soon Walter.
  13. Happy birthday Andy. Have a great day.
  14. R.I.P. Sam.
  15. Hi Paul, I note you are looking for advice and or help. The best advice I could have given you would have been to join a SHU affiliated club. They are the governing body in Scotland. Having said that I may have a couple of unrung latebreds you can have to breed from if you are interested. I live in Beith and my name is Robert Reid. Any of the Kilwinning fanciers will vouch for me.
  16. Happy birthday Peter. Have a lovely day!
  17. R.I.P. Bob a real gentleman.
  18. Progressive thinking. Great
  19. Stock lofts are best stocked with winning racers and those directly from them.
  20. We have had troubled training into Beith with youngsters for weeks now. We moved out liberation site by a few miles and have had better returns with the birds less spread out. This morning they reached hom in good time only to be attacked by a local peregrine above the lofts. My own are now very wary when they see a training basket and difficult to catch. They youngsters are mentally destroyed but yet we will send many of them racing on saturday in the company of others which are in a similar state of mental health. Sorry off topic but it does help to prove a point.
  21. Before proposing a solution to a problem we need to determine the root cause. If you don't have a root cause you are wasting your time. In our racing it is complex because there are several variables in every race. We only need to look at the disasters being reported with huge losses of youngsters while training to realise that one potential cause involved in every race is the peregrine falcon hen starting to hunt again and also training her offspring. If we eliminate this from the equation then will have progressed.
  22. Cheats never win is just like saying crime doesn't pay. The old sayings just don't apply any more. Most criminals in this area have a standard of living a working man could never achieve.

    Race North

Andy without being disrespectful your organisation was started to accommodate members who were not good enough to win in Ayrshire Federation. Even their initial radius was formulated to exclude those who could.
