Cheers John. I hope you are good!
  2. Really horses for courses. One piece of advice I was given years ago was " never introduce from someone who puts more into the birds than you can yourself".
  3. The INFC had about just over 450 birds reported in the first 2 days. That's probably just over 20% of the convoy. It's better than us but still not great. I'm just putting things into perspective.
  4. I would never have said so much but Tuesday seemed to be a much better racing day. Hindsight is a wonderful thing .
  5. About 1000 more than us I think but they had a decent race.

  7. It's worth noting that the Irish held till Tuesday due to fog in the channel and have 138 first day pigeons recorded.
  8. Eamon, the problem is there are very few "starting up" However your offer is well intended
  9. Did he get that tan waiting for Bedhampton birds?
  10. We live on an island. When the homing instinct is upset (for whatever reason) they fly till exhausted. If they are over land at the time then that's great. If not they probably drown. Fanciers seem to be in denial of this simple fact.
  11. Depends on the forecast and this weeks training. If I think I'll be throwing them away I won't go. However I hope to see you guys as well.
  12. You pair must have a magicians hat you can dip into and pull out a couple of fresh birds every time you need them.
  13. 11 from 28 last night and none this morning. Bedhampton can only be described as a very erratic race as far as I am concerned.
  14. Good point!

    National Results

Send your birds, accept the result and respect your fellow fanciers .
  18. Will you be able to find it ok.lol
  19. It's getting better by the minute now. Strong west wind, thunder in Hamilton and silage abandoned 10 miles up the road as it was too wet. Never mind things can only get better
  20. I'm not getting that impression in Ayrshire. Well done Alex Howie
  21. I've just spoken with Archie. I'll PM his phone number to KB. KB and Archie have a great deal in community n.
  22. I know that Charlie. That's not part of your nature. The acts will undoubtedly emerge and I'll keep quiet as I would imagine the situation would be better discussed at COMMITTEE level. 23. That's incorrect Charlie. I'm not getting involved but Ayrshire liberated 5 minutes after Glasgow. There is a very subtle difference in the wording.
  24. Interesting tip Roland. Perhaps we should be looking at down to earth practical things rather than throwing money at the get rich quick merchants.
  25. I'm very sorry to hear this Mike. When tragedy strikes so close to home it really is a reality check. No matter how much the arm c hair politicians bump their gums on this site it will do nothing to rectify the situation. I am curious to determine whether the perpetrators were home grown or recent migrants before drawing a conclusion. Reading the news this morning I note the bomber was home grown with links to an ISIS recruiter.
