Another legendary fancier gone, sad news indeed.

Just singled up my Gold cup candidates Roland and watched the peregrine chase my number 1 favourite up and down the sky, only inches from getting its kill. I zoomed home to find it on the board unscathed. So, what was the purpose of a 20 miler , only to scare the sh it out yer primed candidates and mentally destroy them at the last hurdle ? BOP IS DESTROYING THIS WONDERFUL SPORT. No mincing my words here, kill or be killed!!!

As I said before, we are miles away from what the real hours of darkness are. This must be addressed ASAP because it has cost fanciers National wins and averages etc. How on earth can the hours of darkness be the same at the start of June as it is the end of June? We should adopt the NFC rulings on this imo.

I've had 3 pigeons reported this year, 2 latebreds and a 2 yr old, also in its first year racing. All 3 were singled up from, 130, 140 and 200 miles and all made it home. All these pigeons were very inexperienced and still made it home without any help. Definitely food for thought, we know nothing about pigeons.

Two of my oldest racers are reds. They've been over the water many times. One of my best racing hens is a white. I don't think it matters what colour they are, BOP can see a dark ch from miles away just as it can see a bright coloured one. Get rid of the problem or you can say bye bye to the game.
