Class fancier for many years. He scored at all distances and had many outstanding pigeons including a hen that was responsible for over 50 x 1st feds etc. Was this the best breeding hen in the UK ? Bob was a true racing pigeon legend, very sad news indeed.
The WRC wasn’t mentioned at our Agm m8, the race programme meeting was delayed to February to see what other feds were doing. It was a shock that the vote went against the Shu but I didn’t think that mattered to the Shu members willing to enter the WRC. I was equally shocked with that. Anyway, have a good Xmas and fk the politics.
Lol, ye know that’s not the full story. I think you like the grief factor in the doo game lol. The WRC was going ahead before any proposals of joining the SHU were put into the Glasgow fed. Glasgow was invited to convoy with the WRC but only SHU members could compete. Don’t interpret that differently now as nothing has actually changed. The only thing we have not got now is the backing and sponsorship of the Macaloney family, which is a real shame. The WRC can still go ahead if someone is willing to run it, imo.
it was good to Grangemouth, sh ite here all day too, 5/5 also. It was the correct option according to 15/16 fanciers away lol. So, you run it next year and try and get it spot on in December. By the way, i'll send.
I had planned to run a yearling race from Dublin in May 2020 if I got enough interest in this Xmas race. Needless to say, the entry was terrible. I will support anyone that takes these ventures on in the future but, as they say in the Dragons Den, ' I'M out' lol.
The cash is made up and ready for all the winners to collect, a quick pay out in readies is what everyone wants lol. That's why I want cash on a marking night to speed up the pay out. Well done all the winners, well spread out this year.
