http://www.snfc.co.uk/uploads/results/89.html Results up, well done everyone
  2. Great results this season, well done
  3. We personally had poor returns from both in lands. For some reason a lot of old birds being lost too easy this year and don't forget last year wiped most out so the numbers bring down will be partly to both this and last year's returns. I hope we have a great return from the gold cup as another like last year is not thinkable, all the best to all who entered
  4. What ever the reasons for the large number of loses, it looks like we are repeating last year's terrible racing, if so I fear for the sport as this is lambs to the slaught . I hope I am wrong and the rest of the racing s good with great returns
  5. These birds know where they stay now just the raptures to worry about know
  6. The Clydebank club house and allotment with lofts is right outside the hospital entrance.
  7. Greathe read, I myself have thought about this subject and although my outcome would be explained differently the end outcome is much the same.
  8. We had a cracking night and were last out the hall, the buffet was first class as usual, well done guys and thanks for inviting us
  9. We would only be guessing what it is, maybe Salmonella?
  10. I don't think it's young bird sickness, but there is something definitely wrong, how do the old birds look? How are the droppings of both old birds and baby's? Maybe need a vets advice, all the best
  11. All renfrewshire except the Barrhead and surounding areas

Members remember Mary has a life outside the National, so be mindful of calling or contacting her at unsociable hours.

Great decision, well done Mary and all the best for the coming season
  14. I think Crows are the fanciers best friend when it comes to cats and sparrow hawks, a good early warning signal, and will let you know when it s too late if a hawk is picking away at a bird..
  15. Great read, and top pigeon by any era's standard, you make it look easy.
  16. We have all done this, unfortunately the chances of seeing them again are really slim.
  17. What about the other proposals?
  18. We did this system when we first started widowhood /roundabout system, after breeding in the main loft was complete we would move the hens into there own loft and trap them back into it again all week, on the Friday we would let the hens out and trap to the cocks loft and on return from the race they would trap into the main cock loft again, once separated, fly back into hen loft and repeat. Also when the hens are out make sure the cocks can't see out or the hens see the cocks, good luck.
  19. Yes, we had a great night.
  20. We will be there, looking forward to a good night and a chat.

    Crows

We still get hit? But the crows can give a few seconds warning if they see the bop.

    Crows

Yes we have crows at our loft and they give an early warning of predators including cats.
