Feeling your pain guys, Last year we had 6 attacks before the hen hawk was down on eggs, this year we didn't breed early young birds and waited until February before letting them out and so far fingers crossed all good, but every time we walk down the back door we are expecting a hit, the closer to them going down on eggs the higher the risk of an attack. A couple of weeks should see us free for a while. Not holding my my breath.

I was talking to my brother and he said it is the same guy we spent about 2 hours talking to when at the Olympiad, if it's the same guy he is from Malta.

When at the Olympiad this year we were talking to a couple of fanciers from Malta and they were telling us about Eddie in Malta, RIP.

A lot of far more clever men than me have studied Mendel's theory of hereditary, but no one has came up with a formula for breeding champion racers or breeders of champion racers based on the theory. The old adage is best to best, I think for sprint to middle distance you have a better chance of them breeding direct winners, but for the 500 plus races then they probably won't breed winners, but when you do breed a winner you will probably look back and find the best to best pair in the pedigree. But many roads lead to Rome.

There is only one winner here and it's not us I'm afraid, the more we highlight the issue the more isolated pigeon racing will become, JMO

If the whole West does lib together down the West, it would be great if we could joint lib with the Solway and or any other feds en route to give the birds the best run at it and to minimize the window of opportunity for percy.

This has nothing to do with me but all the comments are from people who are against it, who voted for it and what's your response to all the above concerns? If the west has as many bop as the east then pigeons couldn't have influenced it as most of Scotland has flown the east for years. Or am I wrong?
