  1. Even before the lib , everyone knew if they liberated it was only catering for the elite small percentage that get through on the day. No consideration for the other 98% of the convoy!

    Gold Cup

Your right Del, it has taken years to build this team and plenty of time this year getting them ready, this was the strongest team we have ever had and it will be years before we have a team like that again for the gold cup.

    Gold Cup

Well done del, Davy and all who timed. 0/8 here, absolutely gutted doesn't describe it, that's 18 lost between Bedhampton and Alencon, they were not all superstars but a lot were proven bird's, it was highlighted on pb that the band of rain would stop 2nd day birds, but most of the convoy didn't reach the north of England, the million dollar question is why and will we learn from it and make changes or just keep doing the same thing and expect different results? Ypres, here we come, hope it's a good race.

  18. I do believe that most trates are inherited, for example if you breed from birds that's parents, grandparents rights back all actually trained and raced, then this trate will be strong in the offspring, but if you bred from parents who lived under a bridge as did several generation of there ancestors, even if they did at one time race, I think the racing trate will be weak in the offspring. I do believe that young birds inherit the experiences of there ancestors.
