  11. Merry Christmas everyone
  12. I personally think the sections should stay in whatever form as without them guys like us in extreme west would never get any recognition as the advantage lies in Lanarkshire and surrounding areas, so for me going back to North, South, East and West would be a step back.
  13. Hope you're well soon Joe
  14. A great night with great company, well done to all the committee and others who make it the Special nihht it is.
  15. If you read my post you will see that people without internet access were still catered for.
  16. I put up the suggestion abut sending by email to save postage cost, I never mentioned doing away wother any races.
  17. Yes Del, we lost plenty at club and national level but the point was John said good returns which wasn't the case in the west but looking at the birdage in the YBN and I think most had poor returns in club races.
  18. Great results this year, but returns have been poor here in the west, the returns in the YBN must be well under 20% except Del.
  19. Yes Del, it won't improve the racing but would save money which is vital in the modern world for all organisations to maintain cash flow.
  20. On the original subject about improving, I think we could save a lot of money on postage by emailing members the result, we could ask members to provide email details and the members who don't still get a posted result, (maybe give the ones that do a discounted membership?) personally I never look at the printed result sent as I have already seen it online like 90% of the members,I do think the archived results on the web page should have page one on them, the birdage, pools, lib time and wind details on them. I think this would save a lot on postage all correspondence except the year book and cheques could be emailed, saving the postage bill, thoughts?
  21. Great post, I have thought for years that giving a pick of small seed before lib , even in fed races it's a great idea. But I don't believe in you must call in your first bird, if a great performance was disqualified due to not calling in but had legitamate proof through clock then it's a poor show, I understand the idea but not for me.
  22. Well done Del, still only 2/12 here, thought more would have worked in but heho
