  1. I've simply no got doos to send that distance just now, i knew at the start of the season i had decisions to make, about where to send my 2yr old doos, By the time the longer races came i was already down to 6, and 3 of them are a waste of a perch! So the 2 longest races were ditched right away, hopefully in 2012, i'll be in a position to compete from all the channel races, here's hoping anyway
  2. No but ill advised remarks about the conduct of officials will!
  3. Cracking garden AND set up Andy, i would never be in the house if i had the set up you've created, top marks
  4. I like Bovingdon or Newbury for the 1st one, drop Eastbourne jmo
  5. Nobilis will do just as good a job
  6. I fancy one of a certain man's 2% will win Bourges outright in the SNFC
  7. There is NO infighting between the 2 National clubs, except in the heads of the ill informed and the sheep who follow the flock. I personally have NEVER bad mouthed any other organisation, nor have any officials of the SNFC in my presence. Personally i would love to have a reconciliation of the SNFC and SNRPC. It would in my opinion, give us all better racing with the bigger batches, which in turn Could improve returns. However this also goes back to the respective members to instruct the Officials of their own club to make attempts to either race together, or to agree on a mutual race program where they could convoy together. I will stress at this time that i am unfamiliar with BOTH sides of the original argument, so this post may upset some people who i regard as friends, and fine doomen, but if a reconciliation is going to happen someone somewhere has to get dialogue started. JMO!!!
  8. The only way to change it is if you attend the meeting and vote in your preferred program. It is the members who decide, not the officials who are left to organise and facilitate the members wishes. Posting these types of threads only serves to discredit the club. jmo
  9. It a strange one, the ruffling of feathers could still be a parasite, perhaps on their skin. Youseem to have done everything externally as far as is possible, if i were you i would get the stuff i know as "one spot" to put on the skin at the back of the neck. That is supposed to rid them of all pests in their system, other than that i'm as confused as you to identify a problem.
  10. And me you, cheers.
  11. Aye i'll be there, haven't missed any since i joined, and i'm no missing when i've won
  12. Well done to you too, wish it could be this good more often
  13. Aye they were very generous in their congrats, its quite humbling when i see how genuine everyone has been to me, i can only thank every one of the well wishers, that makes the win all the more rewarding.
  14. He made an ar*e of that. You don't lay the doo up your arm, you put it across the palm of your hand with its tail no touching anything, and he couldn't get the ck right so he helped it to turn upright. :D :D
  15. I go to the Newmains club on a Monday so i will be back on later lads, cheers the now.
  16. Cheers lads its a fantastic feeling, better than Honeymoon!!
  17. Thanks George, i've been frightened to even contemplate this result, unbelievable feelings i have right now. Ta Ritchie, nice of you to say.
  18. Thanks Jim, i feel tremendous.
  19. Things just got a whole load better, John Houston phoned me to confirm i am 1ST West Section 19th open Snfc. Canny believe it, i'm totally overwhelmed.
  20. Its nice to know the doos who haven't made it are still fit enough to work their way back. I hope the rest are still working, seems there are more missing than i first thought, with some fanciers not getting a doo, i never like to see that.
  21. There are satellite's that are accurate to 3 metre's, if the unions were gonna use this method to measure members distances, i'm pretty sure they would use one of them.
  22. Disappointed to here that, the guys who i have spoke with are all over 50% home and a few who are all home, albeit they only sent 2 or 3 doos. Definitely left me with the impression the returns are very good.
  23. Looks as if most of the convoy are tucked up in their lofts tonight. Thats a big WELL DONE to the race controllers, who had a difficult decision to make. Well done.
  24. Cheers, the messages and posts are very touching, i know how Joe Boyle felt when he won the yearling open race a few weeks ago.
  25. Don't even know if i won the Social Circle yet Derek, and i'm FEART to even contemplate winning the SNFC region!!
