  9. if you have consecutive numbers, you could write something like gb 10 a 1 to gb 10 a 20 inclusive, that will keep it to one sheet. ;)
  10. All the best Richie, its easy to forget just how far these races are for you guys. Hope you get a nice early one to settle the nerves, while the rest of your entries make it home.
  11. Thats a new name to me, is it sprints or distance races he's doing it??
  12. I fancy the winners will do 40-42 mph, that is a velocity of 1133ypm to 1232ypm. I'll take one quicker if it comes though, or more like it, i'll wait all night for one doing 25mph Best of luck to all the genuine fanciers on site, hope your returns are near 100% ;)

    Question

The controller is just that, he controls the whole race Alan, he canny be over ruled by anyone, no even the president. I think if i was in that job, thats how it would need to be, what i say goes, cos its the controller that gets it in the neck if its a bad race. Difference with the SNFC is that there are more than one, 3 in fact, and its down to them all, equally, what decisions are made. If there is a difference of opinion between them then the majority rule comes into it. That is how i understand it to be done in practice with the national.

    Wda Bourges

What time did they get away at?
  17. Your a big safty at heart
  18. Hope yer right Frank, weekend has been terrible withoot a race.
  19. I was given no money for any reason from anywhere, and nobody told me anything about money either. Mind you. in the next meeting i am gonna propose £10 an hour for the men doing the work, or free birdage to the races, maybe get one or two of the lazy b*stards sticking their hand up to help out, i think some fanciers assume the doos process themselves, cos they NEVER EVER lend a hand, either at SNFC races or the clubs they fly in. Wid make ye sick
  20. I was at Newmains fae 4.30 to 9.30, for both SNFC races, i got a SINGLE sausage, and 2 pickles for ma effort. I never asked for it, just like i never volunteered for the Committee position i am in, i was asked to fill the space left by Gareth. Any man that suggests i am somehow on the take from any organisation, can get ready for a slap the first time i see them. Flack is the only guaranteed reward for taking on a position, but i can take flack, keep it coming, but don't even suggest i take money from the national, shu, fed or anybody else, cos that is fightin talk. I was nominated for every seat i occupy on committees, i never put ma self forward for any of them, and do the best i can on them all.
  21. I'm certain if Kenny thought the thing wasn't fit for purpose, he wouldn't be long in saying so.
  22. The SNFC don't own any transporters, they borrow/rent from the federations. The convoyer doesn't have any complaints about it, so i would say, yes the transporter is good enough. jmo
  23. I think the doos sitting on yb's have a wee advantage, they won't lose motivation in the basket where widowhood/roundabout doos might, even them on eggs could lose interest. jmo.
  24. Cheers DJWa, i'm sure you'll get there Alan stick at it.
  25. The page where you go to see who's timed is where i'm talking about. Its a single page with room for reported times, read the info at the top. It says that the birds are held over due to weather conditions at the race point. ;)
