I started as a Nursing Assistant in 1981, in a hospital for adults with learning difficulties, i witnessed and spoke out against some rough treatment of the patients from staff who had been in the job for Decades. (NOT nearly to the extent seen on Panorama) From 1984ish an influx of new Trained staff arrived from other hospitals and there was a marked improvement in all aspects of the patients care and i really thought i had seen the last of mistreatment in these hospitals but it would appear i was wrong. Very very sad state of affairs. I agree whole heartedly with Lippi that those who witness it and say nothing are equally guilty. Unfortunately we can be CERTAIN this is still going on Nationwide.

I'll only be sending 6/7 yearlings to Peterborough with Lanarkshire Fed 268mls to me i think. Not decided how many will go with the SNFC to Marlborough probably 6......... If i can get a couple of decent tosses into them Wed/Thurs i could probably send more to this one, maybe 10.

The Gb rung latebred i nominated went down at the Thirsk race. The Blue pied hen was my all pooler the next week at Selby and came back next day with her foot very badly swollen, she still canny put it down, though i'm quite sure the leg is not broken i'm not so sure about her toes being in one piece!! Don't think she will be out again this season

I have used both on my birds, it was always Colombovac i used as it is a water based injection which i preferred, however there were supply problems 2/3/4/ ?? years ago and i switched to the oil based Nobivac. My doos have never been up nor down with either of them and i have always bought it from a reputable suppliers which i would advise everyone to do. I cannot think of Any reason it would either boost/setback my birds regardless of which one i bought

I'm no sure how many i will send, between 4 and 6. Would have been more, but its the Yearling Derby in the Fed as well this weekend so i will have to split my team between the 2 races in the hope that i have a decent time in one of them at least

NO ONE, makes as many calls as Jim Hannah on race day. He makes Every effort Every week to try and get as good a race as possible for the members and HIMSELF, as it seems some of you forget his doos are in the basket as well!! As far as a web site is concerned, ITS YOUR FED, put a proposal into the next race program meeting or AGM that a Computer expert gets hired to create one for us, ITS SIMPLE to get things done. NOT as simple as greetin about dodgy races on P/B, but of course ANYTHING that requires forethought and planning is TOO MUCH EFFORT for the greeters.

IMO The guy who left the fire that caused this should go to prison for it, i know if it was my loft and birds i would either go to the police or i would lynch him and go to prison myself, a widnae care how sorry the effin idiot was he'd still get it.
