I think there is a LOT in what you say about your doos being prepared for it, the doos have good memory's too, and will be more wary than say housing estate birds.

I heard tonight a Lanarkshire doo done 2223ypm on Saturday, i might be wrong but i make that over 75MPH, that is some speed for a doo!!

Yb's are still feart tae come out the loft, sticking their heads out then going back in.

I'm beginning to think if they come across you even Once they remember and cruise past every day in the off chance the doos are out.

Spoke too soon with this one, the day after the attack i noticed a doo that had been gifted to me by my friend Shug Harkin had a drooping R wing, it never recovered and didn't eat 2 days runnung so i had to put it down, it was a VERY well bred young Ck and full of himself before this. On top of that a wee Blue had vanished too, seen it next morning then again this morning when it landed on top of the loft but an Old Ck chased it and i had to leave for work. That's 2 losses to that one attack and that was it MISSING them!! What chance have we got>???

Just got my BHW TODAY!!! Anyway, the blue hen on the front page is a bird i Bred and gifted to Davy & Liz. I am Very Very pleased to have done this for them and Proud to have a bird bred by me on the front cover of the BHW.

Thanks lads, they are all closely related to each other. The yearling hen in pic 2 has a way about her that i notice in the one's that go on to win something. They have won tickets from 80 miles to 507 miles, that is as far as i've sent them so far but the hen in Pic 1 sitting the Yb's could go to Tours this season, if i'm lucky enough to still have her when it comes around!!

Been winning in my lofts since my Da introduced them in 1988, the wee hen in pic 1 was my timer yesterday taking 4th from 856 birds, she and her 2 brothers were my best Yb's 2009.

I could have missed putting my entry in yesterday simply because i'm not on as often just now and would have missed the reminder posted by Blaz, seeing as i spend every spare minute with my wee dug. BUT IF i was disqualified for it, i would have accepted the decision because i like rules to be adhered to, especially where there is money involved, make no mistake apart from helping the wee lass Olivia Downie, my motivation is to try my best to win this and the money up for grabs. However in the circumstances the Jamieson family find themselves in, they should be given at least a week to allow them to get over their sad loss. Not me or any fancier on this site would object to this exception being made. IF there are others who have not put their ring numbers in and do not have a valid reason for their late entry then they should be out of the competition. JMO.
