Aldo is doing 1957.07 ypm with his first doo. He pooled ONE pigeon in both Cambusnethan & Morningside and Newmains, you guessed right, it is his all pooler first over the pad so that is the Accumulator away in both clubs I'm doing 1947 ypm in 4TH place. Very unusual for me to get a ticket under 150mls but i'm very pleased to get off the mark for the season

i don't like East winds, ma Da before me didnae like them either. For that reason i only sent 13 instead of 45ish, i'd rather jump them into 100mls next week when hopefully the wind will have changed.

Hen Sparrow Hawk attacked my doos at the loft today, young and old birds out together and it missed everything This was the first attack this year but i was hit umpteen times last year. Anyway, this happened at 2.45pm and it seems to always happen to me around 2.30pm give or take. Does anyone else find they are attacked at this time of day or Consistently at a different time of day??

Most lofts split their team, in one fashion or another, and it allows those not ready for week 1 to send them in race 2 without having to send them over 100 mls for their first race of the season.

East wind usually means high velocities and heavy losses. Nothing in nature likes an east wind because it is the Coldest and they don't like that. Next time there is a reasonably strong East wind have a look in the nearest fields to you and you will see the Cattle standing with there back side to the wind, they don't even like it!!

I always put it down to the Moult taking its toll on the birds system so leaving them susceptible to infection. But that is an opinion not fact, not that i know of anyway.

I know someone who didn't agree with it and refused to inject his doos. He lost the lot in one month, November. I remember because i also konw someone who missed them only ONE year and he lost his entire young bird team, ALSO in November. For the sake of about £28 i'll Never risk it.!!

I think you have identified what is wrong,,,,,,your doos probably don't like the roundabout system. Pair them up and they'll soon be back to their best. JMO.

Due to the way the immune system develops in Yb's, they should be injected against PMV at 20 to 22 days old, for maximum effect on them.
