  1. 41 Naturals Yb's on the Thursday night before the first race, that was the first time i counted them this year. Dropped 5 training Dropped 12 racing 2 reported dead 2 reported in other lofts, 1 of which is back and the other will be libbed this week so should be back too. 1 back through the stray centre as well. Highlight was 3rd section/open Fed. Most STUPID thing i done was Not to enter the duplication race with the above doo!!
  2. Well i was in one of the best distance man's loft this morning and amazingly he hasn't had a mention that i can see on this thread yet, Davie Elliott of Newbigggin must be regarded as having one of the best team of distance pigeons in the country just now. jmo.
  3. Cheers Brian.
  4. What time does the fight start and what channel is it on?? Either free or PPV.
  5. How's yer own results at Fed and SNFC racing.???
  6. What Fkn Highs??
  7. Humans being what we are, like to Pigeon Hole everything, so we (fanciers) are inclined to say a long cast pigeon is more suitable to distance racing and a short cast powerful bird is better for sprinting. When ye think of it along the same lines as Eyesign then its easier to get it, its just a theory invented by men because we need to know (THINK we know) everything about doos when in reality!!!
  8. Its reasonable to expect at least half of Billy's first 10 birds will still be there come the 2013 Inland Nationals?? Maybe Ypres too!! Watch this space.

    Snfc

I canny ever remember anyone taking the first 5 Open positions in an SNFC race before, (though i stand to be corrected!) very very well done to Billy Bilsland. No to mention 10 of the first 16 Open positions, what a performance.
  10. Good try Mark, but even you must agree ye had a Howler there askin his whereabouts lolol

Pleased to say i got a message fae ma mate telling me Rhea is putting the weight on rapid, so here's hoping all goes well for her and she has a good litter.
  12. Had the Absolute Pleasure of verifying Jock's Niort pigeon and this season, it seemed every bird in the loft was either a winner or out of a winner of Top Drawer SNFC positions. Top Top fancier and stock man.
  13. Well done Del, Frank, Gareth, Tam, Callum and all the west section guys who have timed in, that was a strong wind today and i agree that the bird into Ayrshire has put up the best performance in the race so a HUGE well done to bird and Fancier.
  14. First and foremost Frank, i hope you win the Section on Saturday and go out on top, and secondly i wish you all the very best with whatever you choose to do now. John..
  15. The following clubs have strays to be picked up today 09/09/12 at 4pm. Please be prompt. Cambuslang, Carluke, Chryston, East Kilbride, Burnbank, Dalzell, Uddingston, Low Waters, Newmains, New Stevenston, Greenfield and Strathaven. Not sure yet what the set up will be but i will be at the SNFC sale and thereafter will wait to distribute the doos.
  16. Morning Brian, have a nice one.
  17. This is the final week for strays. With the SNFC sale taking place tomorrow at NEWMAINS i will not know which clubs have strays until the very last moment before 4pm pick up time. I will do my utmost to identify the clubs ASAP after i pick them up Sunday morning, if there aren't too many i should manage this but if there 50+ birds are to sort i will not know until just before 4pm. ATB John.
  18. Try BT,COM
  19. The clones wouldn't register, the clock wouldn't accept a second identically cloned ring, it would come up ALREADY MARKED and would not give it a race entry code, thus leaving the clones useless.
  20. I didnae know there were Scots on Mars, but that expletive removed* OFF is inimitable
  21. If my doos get let go at the same time, and the same place as everyone else's i'll be quite content to go anywhere, my only reasonably firm view is that we should start at around 90mls to Motherwell cross. Otherwise i have no strong opinions on the route or the race points used. Quite fancy an Open race from one of the mid distance races voted in, say at around the distance of the Yearling Derby, i think this would bring something extra to the program and would attract a good entry, JOM mind!!
  22. Good fanciers have and do win with them, and poor fanciers haven't, just like every other strain. jmo.
  23. Aye Wullie Deserves all the plaudits going, he has had a great young bird season and don't be surprised to see him at the top of the Section in the up coming Yb National, if he sends to it.
