  1. The birds were liberated at 11.45am into a w/sw wind. Not 12pm as previous info said.
  2. Come on Jamie, disorganised i might be at times, but i'm no that bad i would miss a club out. If the club isnae listed there are none for that club.
  3. Logistics Frank, i could easily do a double run to Armadale when late comers came in, but they are in Broxburn now and to be certain i get all of our strays every week i will be collecting on a Sunday Morning, so that's why its moved. Cheers John.
  4. The following clubs have strays to be picked up today from 4pm to 4.30pm. Burnbank Blantyre Carluke Mosshill Uddingston Greenfield New Stevenston Clarkston and Dist Coatbridge Newmains Lanark & Dist Dalzell Please make sure your stray officer is on time. FROM NEXT WEEK THE PICK UP WILL BE ON SUNDAY'S FROM 4PM T0 4.30PM.
  5. Aye put them in every week until the end of the program now.
  6. There is a wee break in the weather coming from the west Stevie, maybe the window they are looking for to get them up but overall it disnae look too clever to me. Was at Farrans yard tae about 10.30pm last night transferring all the baskets onto one lorry, would hate to think we were there for nothing
  7. Worst thing i have read on here this and there have been some stinkers, but this is the is the worst, really really hope you get them in the morning Derek.
  8. I will be glued to it as often as possible. House to ma self from Tuesday onward so its gonna be an Olympic fest all week
  9. 160 Baskets away to Longtown on one transporter, roughly 4,500 doos.
  10. Sorted, Thanks.
  11. Was away with mine this morning (20mls) and its the first time they've no been home in front of me. Had to go doing verifications of the Clermont doos so i don't know when they did arrive but a couple looked sorry for themselves when i got back about 3'ish so i'm hoping they've all had a good work out. Was windy enough to make them work.
  12. Hi Lads, can anyone give me details of the SHU stray officer, name and contact number would be ideal. Cheers John.
  13. Tossed my lot this morning too, looks like they are all home again
  14. Fanciers who know me know that ordinarily i treat for nothing except one eye cold. This year however i had a run of greasy wattles that just would not clear up. A very good friend gave me a tub of TYLAN and advised a 5 day course. The entire team are in top order now and ready for the basket. You could have problems getting it as it is only available on prescription but if you get on well with your local vet he should get it for you.
  15. 0 fae 2 sent, typical of my year i'm afraid. Great to see Steven got his good hen, is she the best racing hen in Scotland?? i don't know of any better.
  16. Never got out the bit this year, just never had any drive in me all season and the losses and results reflected it. Mind you the way it turned out for HUNDREDS of fanciers i maybe saved ma sanity by easily accepting the futility of my situation, cos if i had put everything into them with the same results and losses i would have needed sent for Got the next 14 days off work and will try pushing myself and my Yb's to see if they can get some credibility back.
  17. Its a Larhall doo Homer. Secretary is Jim Finnan 01698887043, cheers.
  18. Today was supposed to be the first toss for my lot but the rain hasn't halted all day, same tomorrow too so looks like Wednesday before i can get a toss into them. Its forecast for nice sunny weather Wednesday so i'll just start them at 20mls instead of the usual 12, will go Very early with them in the hope they don't clash en route, same again Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday then into the training van next week before sending to the 2nd race in the program. Plan is then to get them on the van twice a week until race 5 then stop for the season, canny wait tae see the back of it this year.

  21. Well Done Higgie, so glad you got her mate
  22. Well done to all the PB members who have timed in, a special well done to Gareth and Frank on their fine performances
  23. Brisk westerly wind here in Wishaw, no sign of the South that was being touted last night. atb everyone.
  24. Am going for WINGS04 tae win it with his Blue Ck 701. If its no Rab, i'll plunge on John Duthie, his doos are racing very well this year again.
  25. Think i seen them en route home Alan, about 350/400 doos heading through Craigneuk on a direct line to Hamilton.
