  1. Only a couple of years since he won the Gold Cup and now hits the crossbar this season, great flying and a top top pigeon man, well done.
  2. I would be interested in knowing where the Tunnel takes you to in France before you can get off. Have always thought it just went straight to Paris, if so how far it is to the race point from there. Also are you allowed to take livestock on board with you. If it IS possible to transport this way and it is economically viable to do so i would support it all the way.
  3. Well done John, you must have had them just right for it to be getting one today
  4. Watch yersel Tam, he's looking for something Well done on the Inland Average, just need a decent time fae carentan and you'll get the Old bird average too
  5. Nice pair of Yb's Brian, Not unlike the 2 i got from you, both of mine are Ck's and doing well in my lofts with no setbacks.
  6. Its god to know someone has listened at the AGM. To clarify things, the Marking was brought forward because of the Ferry times. At the port where the birds will sail from there are only 2 sailing times, midnight and 6am. With Thursday marking it meant the transporter would be catching the Friday midnight ferry crossing, there would be no time to get the birds to Carentan, rest them for the allotted time and get an Early liberation. So it will be Wednesday Marking and a Saturday race with the transporter on site Friday afternoon and the birds rested over night 'til the Saturday morning. EAP.
  7. Aye as a matter of fact i was sleeping Ian.
  8. VERY interesting thanks very much Thos, NEITHER of the gardens marked in the pics are mine. The point marked in pic 2 is just over the fence from me right enough. My house faces onto the half moon shaped park, the one with the Red Car and white Astra van parked in front of it. The garden is very long and meets the other garden at the very bottom. Can i assume the 2nd pic is +655718?
  9. I see on the news that the Hawk they use to frighten the pigeons away fae Wimbledon has been nicked
  10. It was the day Jim, between 11am and 12 noon at Newhouse.

I was handling at marking for Alencon Steven and it just looked the same as the Unicon to me, the clockman chose the race as above, no that am an expert on the ETS clocks but that's how it looked anyway
  12. I will be absolutely delighted for him if he has.

The race points should all be in the the clock Steven, so when you give your clock over to mark your doos the man on the clock will choose which race he is marking for and punch the code number in for that race. Disnae interfere with any of the other races in the clock.
  14. He will probably top the Section at that Velocity, maybe even the whole Fed, now that would be something
  15. Huge well done tae wee Nae Bum on his first Ever win, that'll be him an expert now so you Newmains lads better get on your toes for the Yb's cos the wee man has hit form.
  16. Aye that's about average Jim, never seen it so cheap anywhere before. Even ordinary honey is more expensive than £3.49 for a 340g jar.
  17. 10+ Jim.
  18. I went into a HOME BARGAINS store the other day with one of the people i support at work, there on the shelf were jars of Wild Flower and Manuka honey at just £3.49 a jar, so i emptied the shelf of it, Went back yesterday and emptied the shelf again
  19. Jim Hannah has had a good race, 18.24. 18.40 were his first 2 doos, he got another 2 on the shift plus a couple this morning, good flying by any standards.

  22. I can feel your excitement through yer post Dale, good on you came early for you.
  23. ........Ma Da was meticulous with the doos Andy, this is one of those things he wouldn't get wrong, he was too careful for that. So before i dig them up about it in the office i thought i better just find out if its even worth asking
