An emergency meeting of the management committee has been called for Tuesday evening. Things will be a lot clearer after that.

Personally i don't send my Best pigeons to Every race, preferring to get them fit with 4/5 races out to 200mls or thereabouts and then a wee tighten up fae 70-120mls near the targeted race time. Motivation is what i like, if you give your doo enough reason to get back, it;ll get back sharpish. (BARRING ACCIDENTS THAT IS!!)

The interest shown by all present was amazing Archie, and they now feel as if they know You and Ian almost as much as they do me it was a really great day and i'm hoping it'll get a decent spread in the local papers.

Finally Ian, i'm seeing light at the end of what's been a VERY long tunnel.

When all is going well i send some of my Yearlings to the Coast race, or in this years case i have 2 yearlings away at Salisbury, the rest i stopped after Wollaston yearling derby. Won a ticket with a yearling from Ypres last year though its rare i send them across the Channel. And Yes i do set my doos up for certain races, i have little interest in averages, preferring to target races i can have a wee punt in. The 8th race was Wollaston Steven, these are only Federation races.

It has took an AGE to get it sorted out but it was on Wednesday in Chatleraut (spelling!!!) country park at the LAMH annual event day. In the picture with me are a LAMH regional manager and a LAMH board member. There were pictures taken by some of the staff showing a liberation from the basket and i'm hoping the will e-mail them to me pretty soon. It went well and PB were given a round of applause by all present when the pics were being taken.

I was actually typing that post about east v west when it was on and only looked up when the goals were going in, but 3-2 tells it all, they probably are 2 poor teams, certainly in defence anyway.

If your views are aired and they show the Racing pigeon in a good light ye might just have done more for the cause than all the representations in Parliament and petitions signed. Good work Brian well done.

I imagine that i will have to verify 1st, 2nd or 3rd Section and i've no had the call yet. Usually takes about 3 days to get a full result but if new measurements are needed it'll take another day or 2. jmo

Don't get me wrong their info isn't coming from Lanarkshire officials, its from other Federations who we consult with at the race points regarding who's releasing when.

Aye that's it Brian, first number are those lost, second is number sent to each race.

I figured taking 8 races from each year would give a good perception of the difference and take in most eventualities re, weather conditions, hold overs etc etc

Not so much an understanding Andy, just seems that bit harder on the west route, and as you see the returns on the West route are worse, but not significantly so that it holds any argument as to which is BEST route. jmo
