If you want to send me rings i'll give you some. They're from my yearlings and a couple in the stock section, i've no rings myself or would put them on and transfer them. You would need to send them sharpish as they have hatched out about 4/5 days ago.

No quite the same Frank, am the SVP for gods sake and get texts from members every week to tell me when the doos are getting libbed, i get informed "officially" about 30-45 mins AFTER they are up. 4 Years of this i've had!!!!!

All this talk about a meeting is NEWS to me, i've had no contact from the President or the Secretary about any meeting, mind you as Tam will verify, i get told nothing.

Equipoise, my Ypres section winner, is sitting bang on for Alencon but still has the come back race from Appleby to get passed before the main event. All going well in that, she will go with all the confidence in the world that i will time her. Got 1 or 2 others that were going but after recent losses in the Fed of my older birds she might end up as a single entry but i done that before in 2001 from Hastings and took 3rd Section with a Chequer hen so onwards and upwards for a good end to what has been a terrible racing season all round. 2 Yearling Ck's away, 340mls to me if its still the same lib site from a few years back. All i'm hoping for is decent racing conditions that doesn't leave everyone relying on Luck to time in, cos i never seem to get any luck on dodgy racing days

Bad Bad race, there will definitely need to be an inquiry into this shambles.

0/4 for me i'm afraid. Seems about 25% is an average return across the board, no the best of races and no the best of decisions to move the doos to Cheltenham either.

As a member of the SNFC management committee i would just like you all to know that i was NOT spoken to before or since the decision to move was taken. At this moment in time i am none the wiser as to who was actually consulted or who was involved in taking the control of the race over the heads of the ELECTED race controllers. Also as far as i know, though i haven't spoken to him yet, Jim Hannah has resigned from the position of controller if not the SNFC all together, but i hope he hasn't. I am also of a mind that those responsible for this should resign forthwith.

Well done tae wee Harry and partners, another man that puts a lot into his doos, summer and winter, reaping the rewards. Very unlucky for Charlie, looks like he was beat on the drop but with the first 2 over 100ypm in front of the rest its a fair assumption they were together on the way home.

Very well done to Watty, he puts plenty into his doos and is getting some of it back

Only 4/10, still missing 2x 4yr old Ck's the other 4 are yearlings.

IMO, the route has absolutely nothing to do with this race today, the doos couldn't get through the rain or the hills. Ps, i voted to go East and wanted to go with the SNFC to our longest races, neither of which i got. I say again though today's debauched race was due to the weather, Not the route.
