I change the drinkers more frequently to ensure the birds have access to water. I also make sure the path to the lofts are cleared and treated so there are no risk of slipping/falling on an icy surface.

i do less than i ever used to . it was minus 9 here overnight . i will give clean water at feeding time and thats it . doors are open , theres no wind , so no draughts. the birds look very well indeed in my opinion. :animatedpigeons:

Aye doors open wide tae the wall,water checked and refreshed ,birds lookin great path sand down ,now leave them in peace.

Place a big bit of polystyrene under drinkers keeps water from icing up.
