I agree Andrew, unreal.Hope they turn in tomorrow m8, I thought the Solway would be in but obviously not. Black as fk here, whats the H.O.D tonight lol.

But surely in the instance the race suits us? All doos down for the night and race still ticking?? shortest flyers is disadvantaged here? Is that correct?

Truth is, it evens it up a wee bit but still no advantage

Naw no really.... the clocks open at 4:30 so it's a level field on day 2 if there is no day pigeons

Not sure mate the leading doos could sit for several hours more than the back markers before taking to the air,doo racing will never be fair,just have to take what you can from it and enjoy it when you get a wee bit of success

Friends with most of them as that is the fed we flew in when were racing and we always had good racing and returns from Saintes,we won that trophy for the longest race [530 miles]3 years on the trot till we stopped

The velocitys must be well down below 700 now into solway??

 

There's Nae doos tae give a velocity. It's full cloud cover and raining steady here the now so it could be some time yet before anyone gets a doo, IF they make it at all but it's looking like a repeat of Alencon
