Yb Training

Have u started yb training? From how far? If not when do u usually start? 3 weeks before first race etc? Myself have started some early bred ybs and had them out to Newmains (13/14miles) 3 times (9 tosses) in total. Will start younger ones in a few weeks once I have the time

Not started yet but know a few have I usually start 2/3 weeks before the 1st race which is Shrewsbury 45mls to me and I start at 15mls (by road) and keep them there, if I've still got them.atb.

Our first young bird race is 30th July will start about 4 weeks before all being well. When does everybody else start their young bird race programme? (Think ours is quite late compared to most organisations)

that's the date of our first race this year too . was think about tossing my first 16 last week from about 5 miles every other night .but due to heavy work schedule I never started .

My young birds have had 3 from Hermiston gate nearly Edinburgh weather permitting they will have 3 next week at ski slops then am of on holiday for 14 days thay will be glad to c me go lol
