JADE Posted September 12, 2014 Report Posted September 12, 2014 Yes the SNFC could do with a shake up but the committee is mainly made up of volunteers as far as I can see. Most of the guys who do all the moaning would run a mile if they were asked to go on the committee. It is still the greatest club in the land imo and there is no greater thrill in pigeon racing than getting a good one from THE national. Got to say the entry from the west is PATHETIC for a race from that location in an east wind

Delboy Posted September 12, 2014 Report Posted September 12, 2014 Good point m8 SNFC kicking is very popular!!!! President, Dr Lynch wanted Derek Hay and Gareth Rankin off the committee, why??? Reason, they want the best for the SNFC and the integrity brought back to the once most respected national in the Uk. Its strange that anyone doesn't want this, ????

peter pandy Posted September 12, 2014 Report Posted September 12, 2014 Thats a cracker John !. You know how to avoid buying a round with that question. However its my opinion he is being stitched up from the inside and I agree it is time the Management Committee was proposed from the body of members attending the AGM instead of the hidden agenda of Federations being represented. We only have to look no further than Derek Hay who was voted on at the AGM then was asked to vacate his position at the first Committee meeting.
JohnQuinn Posted September 12, 2014 Report Posted September 12, 2014 You don't know the half of it Peter, it's bordering on ILLEGAL the way the president has behaved in recent months. I for one hope it goes the full road and exposes the dirty deeds committed by this committee.I was gonna say President but imo if you're on the committee you are as liable as the president for decisions taken.
blue pied Posted September 12, 2014 Report Posted September 12, 2014 remember theres 2 nationals in scotland
peter pandy Posted September 12, 2014 Report Posted September 12, 2014 I have to admit I was surprised to learn that Phil was President with his lack of pedigree in Management however I can see where he would make a grand figurehead with the right people at his back for guidance which is obviously not happening. This was obvious when the past Secretary took over the chair at the AGM instead of his Vice Pres.

It would take me half the night to relay the goings on within the SNFC committee but a figurehead isnae what the club needs.
peter pandy Posted September 12, 2014 Report Posted September 12, 2014 John, As you are President of the largest Fed in Scotland you will surely agree that many of your actions are debated by your Committee and perhaps with a different result. I know you are suscepticle to listen to advice however Phil's strings are being pulled due to his lack of experience.

I know where your coming from Peter, theres definitely someone in the background pulling strings.
peter pandy Posted September 12, 2014 Report Posted September 12, 2014 Hi Derek, I think we can assume we can start with a couple from the soon to be defunct Midland Fed ie; Messrs Garvin & McKee. Still trying to figure out how they were contracted by the SNFC to ferry in but then again the losses sustained by disastrous race controlling amongst other decisions made, will perhaps help with the balance sheet.

peter pandy Posted September 13, 2014 Report Posted September 13, 2014 Before I forget. A friend of mine was following the Central Fed transporter down the road last week-end and told me their was black exhaust fumes enveloping the vehicle for many a mile untill he was able to overtake it and that is what the birds are being transported in. What an advert for Scotlands premier club. They would be better buying the South Lanarkshire Fed transporter and renting another Geraldy transporter when required.

hotrod Posted September 13, 2014 Report Posted September 13, 2014 I will be at the AGM ,if I'm not working ,so I await to hear anyone stand up at meeting and state what's been said on here , I heard the same crap last year about the Cheltenham fiasco and not a thing was said at last years AGM . So come on guys leave all your moaning for the AGM . And I must say the birdage is a true reflection of the hard/bad races the west have been getting not just this year but it's gradually getting worse. Good luck to all this weekend .
