I am fairly sure they require this for internationals as well. with them there is a rule that you have to put the rubber in your clock and strike it within (I think) 15 minutes of timing. You also have to phone in to verify your first bird within a set time.

I can only assume the rule for the Scottish National is a belt and braces thing. George is the proof of that. Nae belt or braces and a kid at 18. :D :D :D

But if your not setting a non ets clock you shouldn't need it??? Just thought it was a waste of time and with the ridiculous q's at marking it could help reduce time also less workers needed

Cant see where the less workers come in as there should only be 3 on each table, one writing, one working the ringer and one handling.

Bit quicker wae more handlers?

Well there wouldny be one ringing for a start at an ets only table....anyway it was only a question as I didny know.... now I will leave it to the pros on how to run a marking station

Aye might well be, but if you read the sheets that are given to the co-ordinators, you are only allowed on person handling per table Steven.

We were told last year George that there is no such thing as an ETS only table, you have to take whichever comes next in the line, either ETS or Rubbers

Heard we may be going to Buckingham instead of Billericay ??? Is this true, I wouldn't mind knowing as im on the committee.

Hope this is not true!! Only 280 mls into the Lothians for an inland Old Bird National. Richard Combe knocked this back immediately when it was mentioned at the AGM. Should be Maidstone, same line of flight as Billericay!
