Lesmahagow sits at 900 feet above sea level, Kirkie on the other hand sits at 900 feet below sea level so technically he was correct when he says that it's all down hill....pmsl

I'm 683 feet above sea level, so although it is downhill from Lesmahagow, it is uphill from Kirky, so that must be why I don't win. Why the blue blazes my doos go to Lesmahagow and Kirkie before they come here I don't know, guess they just like flying up and down hills. :emoticon-0140-rofl:

A guy once said to me he wasn't expecting his pigeons quick as they were 700 milers. I said, I can understand what he meant by that but he was an hour and half behind from a 70 mile race :emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0138-thinking:

a guy in my old club a few years back.

using an stb....the top 5 were 2 mins between them, think he ended up 4th. Now he has been racing pigeons for a few years b4 this race without any success. When all clocks were opened and read, this guy had his rubber perfectly over the thimble, i mean the thimble was perfectly placed inside the rubber. :D :D

He was asked how long it took him to get rubber over thimble...his reply was ages

the fckr could have won that race and broke his novice status
