Guest Gareth Rankin Posted October 10, 2013 Report Posted October 10, 2013 lol, I remember a top Lesmahagow fancier swearing it was all downhill from his loft to Lanarkshire and Glasgow and unfair lol. I said to him, their no on *expletive removed* bikes lol Lesmahagow sits at 900 feet above sea level, Kirkie on the other hand sits at 900 feet below sea level so technically he was correct when he says that it's all down hill....pmsl
kingbilly 1 Posted October 10, 2013 Report Posted October 10, 2013 it flew round the loft for 45min and just wouldent trap i timed my 2nd doo in
thunderbigbaws Posted October 10, 2013 Report Posted October 10, 2013 if i was in the east i would have won but had no chance in the west. :emoticon-0140-rofl:
geordie1234 Posted October 10, 2013 Report Posted October 10, 2013 There was a story banded about my club that one gent's latebred was fighting wae a rabbit in his garden so wouldny trap
Delboy Posted October 10, 2013 Report Posted October 10, 2013 Lesmahagow sits at 900 feet above sea level, Kirkie on the other hand sits at 900 feet below sea level so technically he was correct when he says that it's all down hill....pmsl Must be something in the water in the deep south  You are all inbred back woodsmen
Kyleakin Lofts Posted October 10, 2013 Report Posted October 10, 2013 I'm 683 feet above sea level, so although it is downhill from Lesmahagow, it is uphill from Kirky, so that must be why I don't win. Why the blue blazes my doos go to Lesmahagow and Kirkie before they come here I don't know, guess they just like flying up and down hills.
Kyleakin Lofts Posted October 10, 2013 Report Posted October 10, 2013 I SLEPT IN It wasn't funny, you did!!!
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted October 10, 2013 Report Posted October 10, 2013 It was the wrong wind, i wanted the wind right on their nose.

peter pandy Posted October 10, 2013 Report Posted October 10, 2013 My best friend phoned and told me it was a hold over so I went to the pub.
Delboy Posted October 10, 2013 Report Posted October 10, 2013 A guy once said to me he wasn't expecting his pigeons quick as they were 700 milers. I said, I can understand what he meant by that but he was an hour and half behind from a 70 mile race
MIK Posted October 10, 2013 Report Posted October 10, 2013 a guy in my old club a few years back. using an stb....the top 5 were 2 mins between them, think he ended up 4th. Now he has been racing pigeons for a few years b4 this race without any success. When all clocks were opened and read, this guy had his rubber perfectly over the thimble, i mean the thimble was perfectly placed inside the rubber. :D He was asked how long it took him to get rubber over thimble...his reply was ages  the fckr could have won that race and broke his novice status
kingbilly 1 Posted October 11, 2013 Report Posted October 11, 2013 if i was in the east i would have won but had no chance in the west. :emoticon-0140-rofl:gid big fany balls pmsl
