Been trying to get onto the ets,in both our clubs, but to no avail :(

there,s about 3 of us who want it,

but the old timers are TOTALLY AGAINST IT.

they are hell bent on stopping us...T3s only.

flat caps and whippets come to mind.

there even talking about closing down the club, and starting a new one.

excluding me and the others that want ets.

its no wonder the sport is in DECLINE

Talk about moving forward with the times

ets is the future in this sport the old codgers that are moaning will be the gits with the money aswell i cant see them being able to stop you and other members getting it ask the rpra about it to see what they say :animatedpigeons:

Started useing it for the first time this season and while I think it's good it is expensive especially if you have several lofts. If cash was an issue then I would have a t3 every day ov the week ,don't really see how the benefits of ets are justifiable when you draw a comparison to the costs in relation to a t3 ,think it comes down to the individuals circumstances at the end of the day

I had 1st,and 2nd in our club, ended up 6th fed,on the ets i could have stayed put on the patio, with a couple of mates having a beer watching them pile in,instead of taking of rubbers

same again tomorrow i hope, depending on the weather!!

hope you all GET A GOOD ONE!

Canny whack it although unikon have conned their customers with extreme price increases.

Bought 4 pads off them for £132 each £528 and they had the cheek to charge us £12 delivery

Our club are all on ETS we got a grant for it and its fantastic no need to catch the bird and if you cant be at the lofts on race day you can just set it up and leave it running its alot more pluses than minuses.

Easy to think its the best thing since sliced bread if you get it for free, but if everyone had to pay £1000 to set it up I think the T3 would win the argument hands down

Our club are on Benzing so not the dearest set up compared to some of the others.

a lot of our club using rubbers even though we got ets systems their is benefits for ets no race sheets no catching birds but you still got to have them on the other hand its expensive ets has taken away a lot of the thrill catching and timing the bird ect long live T3 most of us will be using them and many going back to rubbers I know clubs down south where they not geared up for ets and all on the clock and still plenty fed winners in their clubs just what u prefer

Why don't u lads move to a club that allow ETS and let the old farts live

Their yesterday's .best thing that has come to the pigeon for years.

KNOW of older members who were against ets but now use it and say it makes the pigeon game easier for them , the initial cost maybe expensive ,so were clocks when they came out wouldnt change back now allways working when doos training i can now see how they preformed and as george say,s take note things change and this is one of them

I was one of the first to get ets in Scotland and my persistent letters to the lottery enabled everybody IN THE UK to get a grant.I can remember the many folk against it in Scotland and every single one of them has it now. The ets was partially to blame for the split in Scottish nationals and now they all *expletive removed* have it.

why would thay need to put up £1,000. the T3 costs more than a bricon speedy set up, fact.

my club dont have it and got knocked back for a lottery grant ,just wonder how many would have if it was not for the their club getting a lottery grant :emoticon-0127-lipssealed:
