Lanarkshire Racing Pigeon Federation will be having a fundraising sale on the 7th of April 2013 in Newmains Club premises.

This is the first sale held by the Federation in a Generation so we are aiming to make it something a bit special.

Further details re-donors etc, will be added as the date draws nearer. John.

Last sale I remember Lanarkshire having was around 1988 - 1989. A long list of Lanarkshires most successful fanciers has been compiled, and everyone asked has generously agreed to donate not one young bird, but a pair to be sold as one lot. A special thank you should be said to the friends of Lanarkshire fed who have also kindly agreed to donate a pair of young birds.

A sale not to be missed.

A big well done to all the people who have pledged birds to help out the fed and to everyone involved with getting the sale up and running :emoticon-0137-clapping: :emoticon-0137-clapping: :emoticon-0137-clapping:

We had a wee meeting tonight to discuss amongst other things the sale. Gareth, Jim Cullen and myself had a list of names each from our previous meeting to contact and ask for a donation, NOT ONE fancier on any of our lists refused a donation, it really warms the Heart when you feel the support from fellow Fed members and even more so Friends of our Fed members, well done to one and all its promising to be a truly GREAT sale.

Aye Andy, we are delighted with the quality on offer, and i'm sure there will be an above average number of winning pigeons come out of this one, we also hope to match or better it in future ventures, though there ain't much room for improvement!!

You and your officials are a credit to the Lanarkshire fed John, well done in making the largest fed in Scotland, the most attractive one as well. :emoticon-0167-beer: :emoticon-0167-beer:
