Had a great race with Lanarkshire from Ingleton 8/9, though not good enough, finished second to J Newbiggin who won the club at 11.50.

Was not happy dropping 5/50 from Appleby last week and also being last in the club, monitored them this week and as the week went on i could see that the doos who had been in outstanding condition in previously weeks were just not the same, gave 40 of them the week of with some TLC, sent 9 that were in tip top condition and fortunately and have had a good race with the nine.

 

Can see them now starting to turn the corner, so all being well, there will be 40 + at Charnock Richard

I got 18/21, I got 3 together at 5 past according to frank Baillie but no in till 8 past. One o them has been ma first bird every week but he's not for comin in(Think he's been handled to often). I had 16 home within 35 mins and then nothing for about 4 hrs. We were first in Clackmannan

Ended the day with 11/12. They were VERY spread out, i only 5 doos in the first hour after timing in and my last 2 came at 6.20pm then the last at 7.05pm. So i consider ma self fortunate to be only 1 adrift. I timed at 11.55.22 and might even have won it if i'd got a good trap, as my neighbour shouted to me that John Dougal had one going to him when mine was flying around the loft
